Complete computer failier. please help

i posted a few weeks ago about the constand freezing so i re-installed windows and all that just fun stuff.

worked for a few days then the freezing and blue screen came back.

Now i turn on my computer and all it does is beep and not boot. I know the beep is telling me something but i cannot find for the life of me what it is. I've checked all 3 manuals and nothing.... Its 1 beep, about 3 times longer then the normal booting beep. It goes beeeeeeeeeeep ----------------------------------------------Silence----------------------------------------------------------------- beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeepp --------------------------------------------------------------sielence------------------------------------------------ beeeeeeeeeeeeepppp

and thats neverending.

If someone could help me that would be awsome


I have a Gigabyte GA-KANS-Pro Motherboard with the nforce 3 250 chipset

 

This is a problem that probally cant be fixed online, first i would clear the cmos and see if that does anything.[if you dont know how to move jumper] just unplug power suppy and pull mother board battery for a couple minutes. If it wont post at all its more than likely one of three things, mb- memory, or processer. Without having extra parts to try, Houston we have a problem.

 

the beep command seems to be saying its the Motherboard or the Powersupply.

So now it could also be the processor........

for mine (ASUS P4P800-E Deluxe) it means there is no RAM inserted which could possibly signify bad RAM. maybe try only 1 stick at a time if you have at least 2. If not, try and borrow some from a friend
