Computer acting strange

Over the last couple of days my computer has been doing some things that caught my attention. First of all I have my computer set to exit to account selection if left inactive for an amount of time. I login one day and some of my icons on my desktop have disappeared and then the next day they reappeared. I went on my itunes and my playlists were gone. I asked the other people that use the computer on a regular basis and they said that they haven't done anything with it. I was wondering what is causing this? If it was those other people doing this and not telling me I want to know. I think there is a program for this and if so what is the best. Something that watches every move anyone make on the computer.

Hi

You'd be looking for a keylogger then, something we have a few of in Covert OPs section, however I must warn you these will set off most Antivirus and antispyware appilciations stating you have malware on your PC, this is normal as these applications are covert data loggers, so if you purposely installed one of these then you can ignore the antivirus messages.

But also run some Antivirus scans on your PC to rule our malware infection off the other users.

To keep people from making changes to your files you could consider making everyone that uses the computer their own user account with less-than administrative permissions.

I'll try it out and does the keylogger set off antivirus/anti-spyware consistently or just until I set it top ignore. And does this put me in a vulnerable state?
