    Hi,
I wanted to watch a DVD on my computer but I didn't have a DVD decoder. I downloaded a program but it didn't work well so I removed. At the same time I updated my graphics driver. My computer has been acting a little weird since I did this. The screen picture will pulse for a second every now and then. Also, one time it froze with a bright white screen. I scanned using my av software in safe mode and also did the scans from the read-me post.

Thanks for your help. I should know better than to download programs off the internet. :-o

I'm sorry but your problems are not due to malware. Your logs are clean. You should try uninstalling whatever updates you put in. Also you could attempt a System Restore.

I will now move this to the Hardware Forum since it is possibly related to the drivers you changed.

We're going to need some info about your hardware. Please download and install Everest, and use it to create a hardware/software report. You can find all the info you need at this link.
    :-D
