Computer crashed =\

So i was in the middle of playing a game, and my computer pretty much just died.

Basically my screen went white, other then the top upper right corner which was still showing the game, but was frozen, and there were lines all over, and after about 10 seconds, the monitor shut off and the HD light on my tower stopped blinking.

Now the monitor wont turn on or anything. The motherboard does not beep on start up, nor does the HD light on the tower blink.

The monitor is plugged into the onboard after my dedicated cards ram was dieing, so i took it out. Computer was fine for about a week and then this happened.

I tried messing around with everything, removed ram individually, tried switching to my broken HD but the computer would still beep on startup with it. I tried putting in my dedicated graphics card and restarted it a couple time with it plugged in. One of the time it booted up and a screen came up saying windows failed to start and was trying to solve the problem, blah blah blah, and asked me if i wanted to restore, it pretty much froze on that after waiting for like 15 min so i restarted it and it wouldnt go back to that screen =\

I'm thinking either my motherboard died or maybe its my power supply? but the way it crashed doesnt sound like a PSU problem, it sounds like a problem with the motherboard :\

This is my gaming computer and id really like to fix it ><

We need to clarify here- does the system turn on at all (power supply fan come on, cpu and any case fans come on)?

Yeah. Have you tried another power supply?

 

Ya it turns on an everything, fans come on cpu fan goes on. And no i havnt tried swapping out a power supply, i could use my old computers PSU i suppose
