have a windows XP machine and have recently had problems connecting to the internet and have no idea what's changed. My "Dr Speedtouch" program from Wanadoo suggests that "Computer does not have networking (TCP/IP) installed", which as far as I knew was included with the XP installation.....

I have tried looking at the properties of the Network card as suggested but there is already a check box for TCP/IP and if I try to install, I presaume reinstall it says that it cannot find the drivers anywhere on the PC. I have tried from the recovery disk to install this and it caused fatal errors on my PC

I have tried trawling through microsofts websites and came across a few patches and also a program to repair/reinstall the TCP/IP and Winsock.....none of this seemed to make any difference.....

PLEASE HELP me use my intenernet connection which I'm paying for!!!
