Recently I fudged my computer up with a mistake I made while trying to do some "house keeping". I finally give up and decide to reformat to fix this problem. I reformat, and after it reformats while it is booting up I am given a bluescreen that says Windows shut down in order to stop a problem from spreading. I should do a virus scan or some other crap. I reboot three or four more times seeing if I get the error again. Then I unplug the harddrive and plug it back in. Same thing happens. In an experiment I unplugged the harddrive and booted it up. I shut it down after it tries and then plug my harddrive back in. This time when I go to turn it on nothing happens. If possible could anyone give me assistance?

Oh,my....where to begin .....what was the original problem ....when you say nothing happens, now ...do you mean no fans, no lights, no beep code?
Could you give us system spec's?
Do you know how big a ps you have?
    Does the power supply smell?
