Computer Freezes Up Often

    Hi,
    You recently helped me with my slow laptop, and I thought maybe I could ask you to help me find a solution for my other computer. It's a desktop i7-860 running Windows 10 Home. It runs fine, except that at least once every 30 minutes--sometimes as often as every five minutes, depending on what I'm doing--the computer freezes up. What I mean is that the screen looks normal, and the mouse cursor continues to move, but I can't do anything; clicks don't register and neither does any keyboard action. I can't change windows in my browser, or do anything else with the computer really. After about two minutes, everything unfreezes and works as normal again. It does tend to happen more often when I'm watching video online, say streaming a news story or watching a Youtube video.

    I bought and have running the Super Anti-Spyware Professional Edition, and it updates and scans daily, in addition to Avira as my antivirus.

    I followed your instructions and am attaching the requested logs.

    Based on your description and your logs, it does not appear that your problem is due to malware. Seems more likely to be something that is running on your PC or hardware related. Perhaps some different software is conflicting with each other. You should try leaving Windows Task Manager open and showing all processes and see if you can catch any process that all of sudden is eating up all of your CPU time.

    An additional test would be to try uninstalling SUPERAntiSpyware and rebooting and see if the problem still occurs. If it does then uninstall Avira and reboot and see if it still occurs. These are just tests to find if the issue is related to one or both of these applications.
