    Lately, I've had an urge to play SimCity 2000.

    The thing is when I play, it's all fine until it randomly freezes up and nothing happens. No blue screen or anything. Not even a restart. I have to do it manually. I have tried setting the compatibility mode too, but that doesn't seem to work either.

    I have Windows XP Home edition sp2

    some maybe irrelevant specs:
    Intel Celeron D 2.66 mhz
    512MB RAM

    another information:
    When I install, the installation program says that I need 4096KB of RAM, and that I only have 2048KB. Any idea what this might mean, and if and how it is linked to my problem, and any way to fix this?

    Thx :)

    It means just what it says, you need more RAM.

    What RAM is it talking about? I have 512MB, yet it says i only have 2048KB.

    2048KB = 2.04MB

    The rest of your Physical Memory is being used by other applications/processes.
