    That log seems clean.

If you have problems with IE, it could be:

    - Installed component (you will have to disable it)
    - Malware
    - Need a reinstallation of the product

I suggest that you take a ride over the MG! Guides about how to clean Malware:

    READ & RUN ME FIRST

    Also you could:

Try to check the components installed in IE (disable that you think is suspicious, toolbars, extensions, etc...), maybe that's the problem.

Btw, if you update windows constantly, try to do this:

Start > run > MRT (it's the malicious software removal tool from microsoft).

    Last option is reinstall.

As you described the problem in the title is the whole computer or just IE?

    Keep us up to date.

    cheers.:zzz

Caliban I don't need no steenkin' title!

Be advised: your HJT log will most likely be edited from your post - inline logging is not allowed at Major Geeks.

The efficient way to do this is by using IE (No Add-ons) in System Tools - you might also use Firefox safe mode for troubleshooting purposes.

Take a look at your Event Viewer at or near the time of the crash, see if anything stands out. You might also check Task Manager, see what processes, network activity, etc. are unusual.

    What means that? :confused

Btw, you can restore the configuration of the navigator, in advanced options, (it will disable any tool bar, addons, complements... and also give you the option to delete your personal configuration).

Sorry for the apparent confusion - I was referring to lucaBrazzi's posting of the HijackThis log.

:-D I know that, but what is the meaning of inline logging? :confused

Displaying the entire text of a log, instead of attaching it as a file to a post. ;)
