Computer Has Been Slower And Sometimes Freezes

    Hello,
    It's been a long time since I've been on here. Many many years in fact. But I'll never forget how you all helped me with my computers in the past. This is my girlfriend's computer and it's about 8 years old. I've attached all the logs requested except for MGTools. I read the different things to try but I don't even think it's the same app anymore. It looks like it's about some kind of figures? When I click on the link from your site it literally does nothing. So I did a google search and came up with some other app that doesn't seem right. Anyway, hopefully this is enough to go on so maybe I can find out if there's something I can do to help her computer run a little better. Thanks for looking at this issue!

    Oh yeah, I almost forgot, for one of the scans that I ran I couldn't find where to save the log. The new version of the app doesn't look anything like the one in the pictures on your site. So I'm not too sure how to handle that. I'll figure out which app it was and tell you, even though I'm sure you will see which one is missing. Any advice on how to find the log file would be great, thanks.

    Windows 11 is not officially supported on your computer. This can cause some secondary issues.

    Deleting Chrome Notifications

    --------------------
    • Note: I would recommend deleting all Notifications and blocking that capability unless you find notifications necessary
    • Launch Chrome
    • Copy and paste chrome://settings/content/notifications in the address bar and hit Enter
    • Scroll down to Allowed to send notifications
    • For any entry you are not familiar with or do not want click on the 3 horizontal dots to the right and select Remove
    • I recommend you Disable Chrome Notifications and if you would like to follow the instructions here
    • Close Chrome, relaunch the browser and check the performance

    • Close any open programs or windows because your computer will automatically reboot after FRST64 is run
    • Right click on the FRST64 icon and select Run as administrator
    • Highlight the below information then hit the Ctrl + C keys at the same time and the text will be copied

    • Click Fix
    • When completed the tool will create a log on the desktop called Fixlog.txt. Please copy and paste the contents of the file in your reply.
    • Note: This step resets your Firewall settings and you may be asked later to grant permission for legitimate programs to pass through the Firewall. If you recognize the program agree to the request.
    • Note: The Emptytemp: command will remove cookies and may result in some websites (like banking) indicating they do not recognize your computer. It may be necessary to receive and apply a verification code. In addition, all temporary files including items in the Recycle Bin will be removed. If you are unsure about emptying temporary files stop and let me know.
