message to ask for help for adult computer #4

hello, i work at my local library, i am 16, very tech savvy, and i dont work that much. for context we live in a small town where professional tech support does not come often, cheap, or efficient. and we are very under budget. so i am pretty much the go to guy for computer support, besides one other staff member, however he has other duties, and i really don't have any tasks other than being at our front desk. also i only work every Friday/Saturday, so there is a large chunk of time i cant work.

before i get to my problem i will describe the log on program we use for patrons to access the computers, and then the security program. our log on system is called Cassie (http://www.librarica.com/) and has a screen users can use to log in to access the computer for an hour a day. and then we use fortres 101(http://www.fortresgrand.com/products/f101/f101.htm) to prevent patrons from changing the computer and desktop, then avg free is our virus scanner

so now onto the problem. quite a long time ago i noticed that one of our patron computers (we have 20.) was down, when i went over to check i noticed the desktop had been changed from what it should be (black screen with non movable icons of programs patrons can run) to a default desktop with no icons on it. so i spent about 45 min recreating the desktop, and then i thought our troubles were over. but ever since then it hardly ever works. it either does one of 2 things, either freezes the screen (i am fairly certain it only does this if it is on the Cassie log in screen, ) or has the blue screen of death. it freezes very often, i cant think of a time i have come in to see it working (i restarted it not even an hour ago and it is frozen). when it runs it runs fine. i cant think of any changes that happened when it broke. it was working one week and the next it was not. i ran a virus scanner a couple weeks ago and it did not turn up an abnormal amount of errors compared to the others. it did not help to delete the files. i have a hijack this log from the broken computer, and from a computer that works as intended. thank you very much to all who will help me, as i really need it. if you have questions i will try to reply to this thread or you can email me at <snip>.thank you very much.

on to the hijack this log of the broken computer.

again thank you very much if you can help.

If you are getting the Blue screen, try removing one of the memory modules and then try them 1 at a time to see if problem persist. 1 of the stick might be bad.
