computer is not starting

Hi,
i am using windows xp with sp2 assus mo bo with 3.0ghz processor. i am not getting any beep when i start my computer, nothing comes at the screen.
my power supply is ok. also i reset bios and remove battery to reset settings on mo bo. still it's a same problem.
need help....

did the computer ever start? did you add/remove hardware? move the case somewhere? did you try a different outlet? did you try a different power cord? on most motherboard there is a power lite on the board somewhere, is that light on?

we can't help you if we don't know what going on.... we need exact hardware details (model numbers, specs, links are helpful).... and we need you to explain more about the problem.... did it ever work? did you do anything different that might have caused it???
