in the middle of my games/music whatever, the computer will randomly restart after being on for awhile.

    I have 1GB memory, 2.0ghz AMD Athlon 64, Radeon 9800 pro 128MB,

If you have an idea what the problem is, I would really appreciate it.

Xeno I think what Jconstan was refering to was is there a record of this in your "Event Viewer" to get to "Event Viewer: you go start/control panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer there you can check either "Applications", "Security", System" double click on these and you will get a log of them. Hope this helps Xeno. Oh! and Welcome to Major Geeks

I'm getting some failure audits inbetween a bunch of regular ones,

    I'm also getting
    Event Type: Warning
    Event Source: Userenv
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 1517
    Date: 4/18/2006
    Time: 11:56:21 PM
    User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
    Computer: OWNER-E8ADF2E68
    Description:
Windows saved user OWNER-E8ADF2E68\Owner registry while an application or service was still using the registry during log off. The memory used by the user's registry has not been freed. The registry will be unloaded when it is no longer in use.

This is often caused by services running as a user account, try configuring the services to run in either the LocalService or NetworkService account.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

a bunch of times just like the other one under application, I get mroe errors that atitray didn't load at bootup, and some warnings that reboots, logon, logoffs have failed or something, and now all the videos I watch, they have yellow lines on them.

Warnings usually wont make a system reboot. The two logs that may provide an indication is the SYSTEM log and the APPLICATION log. See if there are any failures with a red ball icon around the time that your machine dies. BTW...what version of windows is it?
