Computer Lagging...

My computer has started lagging and it's really pissing me off.
When i working and i get attacked with a trojan(Norton Firewall detects) it just crapps out on me...
I have to wait and wait untill i get really mad and i reboot.
WHAT CAN I DO TO STOP THIS MADNESS!
Intel Pentium 4 2.7GHz
1GB PC 3200 RAM
WinXP SP2
2 Hard Drives (40GIG - 120GIG)

 

One word Spyware.

Better still, to help support this place, you can get Spyware Doctor as well as other scanners HERE.

You really need more than one to mount an effective defence as some pick up things that others don't.

My suggestions would be AdAware, Spybot Search and Destroy, SpySweeper, SpyWareBlaster and Spyware Doctor.

Which ever ones you decide on, they are next to useless unless you keep them updated.

 

I did a scan yesterday, nothing showed up.
I will do a scan again with AD-AWARE.
