I accidentally disconnected the computer hard disk drive while it was running
Now the computer will not boot up, the fan starts but there are no beeps
I removed the hard drive and connected it to another computer and went into computer management
The docking station Iused for the faulty hard drive showed up on the left of the section
The section on right, is completely grayed out with no disk information
In the box on the left it says, Disc 2 Removable (p:) No Media
I was trying to replace the operating system with a clone of another computer running windows seven professional. using an external hdd
Is there any way I can make the hard drive recognizable so that I can get in and reformat it
I have tried renaming the faulty drive
I've tried to drive and other computers
    Help
    Mike
