computer moron is having problems please help:(

I would like to say good afternoon to everyone and if I am in the wrong forum please redirect me thank you> Hello I am having problems with my server today and it is really annoying me and I don't know what to do, as I am a beginner to the computer world all I really know how to do is type and turn on my computer..............Please be patient with me.........I was searching the net today as well as went to check my mail the first time after turning on my system it would be fine, then I would close the windows when done searching or checking my mail, i was expecting mail today so I went back a little later and it said can't find server, I then closed that window and went and tried getting my yahoo mailbox to open I then would have problems with finding a server and so I had to restart my computer, I did the same routine and it did the same thing to me........this must be the fourth time I had to restart my computer to find it's server...........please can someone help me out6 here???

 

It could just be your ISP causing the problems. Did you try again after waiting an hour or two?

I agree with Yargwel. The same thing happened to me today. My ISP was experiencing technical difficulties.

I have a question. When you restarted your computer did you get a connection? I may have mis-understood you. Do you have to keep rebooting to find the server?

 

actually I had to keep rebooting but now everything seems to be ok again thanks for all your help
