Computer not coming out of sleep mode

    Running Win7 home prem 64bit.
    Some times after the PC has been in sleep mode and I push the power button to wake it up.
    I can here the fan start up and then slow down and then speed up and then down and just keeps doing this. After about 2 min's I try-ed to power down by holding in on the power button but it does not go down. I need to pull the plug to power off. Has any one seen this before and found a way to fix it?

    Hi

    Do you have any devices such as printer, external HDDs etc plugged into this PC, if so disconnect them to test if they are the cause of this issue,

    Turn off Hybrid Sleep as it can cause issues with some hardware/drivers and instruction HERE

    See if that helps, if not let us know, then we can try something else.
