What cable type are you using? What ports on the TV and computer are you connecting? Are you selecting the correct input on the TV?
Using a VGA 15 pin cable or HDMI? or ?? Desktop computer right?

Using VGA 15 pin cable both cables work on another computer so they are ok so not the cables

So your TV has a VGA input?

I have a PC with a similar issue, except it is an HDMI output. After pulling my hair out off and on for a few months, I think I've traced the issue to the TV itself.

The TV will only recognize the PC if the TV is turned on first and then the PC is powered on from a cold boot or restart. It will not recognize a "wake" signal from the energy saving settings such as the monitor turning back on or waking from the "sleep" setting.

Try turning on the TV first, setting the TV input to VGA then turning on the PC. If this works, your TV set (like mine) may be the culprit.

    Hope this helps. :)

it sounds like the tv cannot sync with whatever resolution your graphics card is set to if it's showing the bios boot and goes off when windows starts

try pressing F8 just before windows is about to boot ( just after bios check but before windows starts ) it might take a couple of tries to catch the right moment
once you have the menu in front of you start windows in VGA mode and see if that works
once in windows ( presuming it does work ) set the screen resolution to the native resolution and sync ( 50 or 60hz should be ok ) of the tv

    good luck...

Try a different source with the VGA in to rule out a problem with tv

I'm pretty sure epsonone has enough info to know that it's this computer and not the TV since they tried a different monitor already.

It would help to know the graphics card make and software that drives it. My graphics card has three outs, HDMI, DVI, and VGA. When I finally got a TV that had HDMI in on it I was surprised to find that the graphics card didn't support using all 3 outs at once. Not sure what your situation is, but I suspect it's something to do with the settings.
