    Hello!

I started my computer this morning too find out that it isn't working.

I pressed the power button, I hear everything powering up and the fans go wild, but nothing happens. Bios doesn't show, screen doesn't detect the computer.

So, I open the computer up, removed piece by piece to see what caused the problem.

The GFX card (Nvidia 9800gt) seems to be the problem. I removed it and replaced it with an older one I had laying around (7600GS). The computer now powers on and works are normal.

In short, I'm pretty sure it's the GFX card, but I was wondering, is it possible that it's the powersupply that's causing this?

    Thanks!

    Thanks!

If you replaced the video card and it is now working, it probably is just the card. ;)

No problem. Had it been your power supply, you wouldn't have had as much motherboard activity as you did nor would replacing the video card been successful. ;)
