I recently purchased a sandisk cruzer mini 256 MB USb thumb drive. Everything seems to work fine on all my computers in the house except one. When ever i insert the USB drive into a usb slot the computer freezes. Everytime. I know the usb ports work becaue i pluged in mice. Does anybody know why this could be happening. Here are some computer specs

    Asus 865PE Neo 2-v
    fx 5200 video card
    5.1 live sound card
    and thats about it.
    All drivers are installed.
    Thanks for the help

Probably what you need are some drivers update for the SanDisk, pay a visit to their site. :)

Check to see if UPnP or SSDP discovery is turned on in Services.msc. Since you are using WinXP, you should not of had to install any drivers from Sandisk, due to WinXP should have them already installed. Also are you running SP1 or SP2 of WinXP?
