Computer problems

Its a hewlett Packard

it turns on......... the monitor

the monitor comes on...........

sometimes the icons show

other times they dont..

maybe from rebooting???

Its about 2 years old...

how could we even trouble shoot???

 

First give use some information on your Operating system (Windows 95, Windows XP home, Ect). Also a little more detail would be helpful. How long its been going on, and when the Icons don't come up and it reboots (I am not totally sure what you said, does a blue screen fill the screen with all kinds of strange numbers and what not. Basiclly the more details we have the better we can trouble shoot.

P.S. I had a hard time reading your post, perhaps you could try to clear it up a little bit atleast.
