Computer really slow almost unusable on battery

Hello, I have an HP pavilion dv3 4048-tx. When on battery, the computer is very slow, almost unusable. Can someone tell me what to do, what to disable or something else to fix this problem? Thanks

 

This is Windows 7 home basic 32-bit. It's a recent development.
I checked the battery with HP support assistant and the status is "OK". I also checked the status in control panel and the power plan is on "balanced".

 

How much ram do you have windows 7 takes about a 1gig too run properly

I have 2gb ram running on this computer. My HDD is 298 GB and I have 264 GB free. So that's not the problem I am having.

Where trying too help ok And your kinda not giving us much too go on here where kinda beating around the bush here.

So you are only using about 40% of your HD With every thing installed ok that's what i am guessing.So you go plenty of space left.I don't think it could be a Framented problem.

Have you run any kinda Check disk on it lately.

What kinda Programs do you have like Anti-Virus / malware programs running if any.

 

I have download this utility, I do not know what to do exactly with it.

I am running Avast Anti-Virus free, Comodo Firewall and PrivacyKeyboard.

I don't know where the processor setting is; it's highly doubtful that somebody changed the settings cause it's my personal computer laptop.

 

At the next boot a panel will be appear with your hdd's report like this my friend !! :wave
