Have you checked the BIOS to make sure that the CD is the first boot device?

You may want to try booting from a bootdisk, due to in order to format from Linux to WinXP, you will have to do a 'Fdisk c: /mbr' to restore the Master Boot Record. Also as Shadow_Puter_Dude stated, check your bios to make sure that the CD-Rom is the First Boot Device, with the Hard Drive being the second.

i got it fixed now. I recently reset my cmos, and had to set the boot order back the way i needed it (cd, hard drive).
