Computer Shutting Down When Typing In Boxes

I don't know if it's a software problem, but I have a very strange issue on my computer. On some sites, it shuts down completely when I type a message in a box, like what I'm doing here when writing this question. I'm in fact wondering if it's going to happen here.

First, it's not on all websites, only in some of them. But when it happens, it's consistent. For instance it happens on reddit. If I write a post there, my computer shuts down suddenly, not immediately when I start writing, but after about 1 minute of typing. On a social media, it doesn't happen if I write a post, but it does when I try to edit it and also when I send private messages.

 

sounds like a temperature issue to me but I could be wrong. Download Hwinfo and see what your temps are like untill it shuts down.

 

And in fact it happens also here, the reason why I must keep writing my question as a response, since I don't see a way to edit my post. My computer otherwise doesn't shut down suddenly, only when typing in boxes.

 

I thought of it and already checked, but no, the temperature is about 50degrees, which is normal for my computer. It doesn't change when I'm tying in these boxes.

 

And anyway I don't see how typing could make my computer overheat.

 

it don't it just happens when the critical temp is reached and shuts down to prevent damage to cpu. i just thought of that cos of your original post stating it shuts down after a minute or so.

 

Try a different browser.

 

Indeed, it shuts down like in does when overheating, that's why I thought of it as well.
