Computer To Cell Phone Text Mess.

You don't need any program. Fire up your email program.
Send an email to the 10 digit phone number@the carrier

Here is what I know about carriers: (these might change because particularly since sprint and T-Mobile merged) I do have a more up to date list but at the moment, I'm not sure where I filed it. I'll post back if I find it.

• U.S. Cellular: @email.uscc.net

One of my friends is on AT&T and another on Verizon. I did confirm probably last year that it works.

 

Ah, I found it. I didn't file it under Text or Cell phone, I had it filed under email! Keep in mind that sms is a text message and mms includes pictures so I'm just listing sms addresses
