computer to TV question

Merry christmas to everyone... haven't posted here for a while, but I finally had a problem that I could not find the answer to, figured I'd come to you guys. I just got my HD-TV as a gift , so I'm pretty psyched, I have my computer hooked up to it through my ati radeon x800xl, it is through component cables, a little adapter that came with it allowed me to do that. It's nice and all, but it doesnt fit to screen, you have to bring the mouse to the edge of the screen to see everything kinda scrolls through, I was wondering how can I make it fit to screen? If anyone can help me I'd greatly appreciate it.

 

Have you set it as your default screen or as a second display?

If it's a widescreen tv, you'll need a widescreen wallpaper - this was an issue a friend of mine had.

 

You could try messing with the resolution of the TV, listed as the secondary display.

 

I set it at secondary display and also primary, didn't make much of a difference, but I'll try looking for a widescreen wallpaper, I'll tell you how it goes.
