Computer will not reboot

    Got this A7N8X Asus board. When you start it first time for the day it is okay but if I install a program that asks for restart it just does not do so. Bios 1007, changed mem, key board, mouse. It takes up to 6 hours before it starts again. Have Reset bios, reinstalled windows xp.
    Any suggestions?

    I would try a new power supply first off. Sometimes they can have odd issues like this. Does it happen if you do a shutdown in windows, or just a restart?

    Sorry I should have mentioned this, I have changed 3 power supplies from a 300W to 420W to 530W. I won't restart be it from a restart or a full shutdown. Asus has been of no help.

    I do not over clock my cpu is an Athlon 2200+ mem pc2100. Bios set at 133, and Auto.
