computer will not recognise D drive

    Hi guys,
    I have 2 physical drives on my computer ( C,D ) I replaced my C drive with another one ,and now when i go into "My computer" D drive is no longer there . the D drive is SATA and C drive is IDE I looked in the BIOS and it is there , it also appears in the Device Manager.and properties . I am using windows XP pro sp3 Any help would be appreciated .

    have a look in windows disk management. The partition may be corrupt
