Computer Will Not Shut Down

Hey everyone, this is my first post on here, but I am writing to say that my computer will not shut down, I am running an HP Laptop with Windows XP when I click to shut down it does nothing, it doesn't freeze, but it doesn't do anything. Any ideas let me know! I had to run updates on Norton Antivirus yesterday and ever since then it has not been shutting down.

I didnt want to turn off any processes because I am not that smart with processes so I do not know which ones are vital and which ones are not. If any one does know if I have a virus any suggestions on how to take care of it would be greatly appreciated!

Your processes seem to indicate that you have Norton Antivirus and ClamWin Antivirus running on your machine. You should have only 1 AV app running at a time.

I would start a thread in the Malware Forum here, http://forums.majorgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=35

I noticed you have two (2) anti-virus running which can cause conflicts, especially if one is Norton's. I also noticed at least one trojan (justsched.exe) and you probably have a few more.

Just follow the procedures here, http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407 and post if you need assistance which I think you will.
