   Hi Syrk,
   
   You don't say what OS you are running. In most all the 4 second shutdown is standard and can be altered in CONTROL PANEL, POWER OPTIONS. Leave it alone and just tap the Power button. It should shut down same as if you went through the Shutdown procedure. Easiest way.
