computer wont boot up

    turn on computer it wont boot up to any screen

    replace fan now computer wont boot up it comes on but that all monter will not come come up wont load xp

    Hi rcaviness47,
    you need to tell us more info we need to know whether you changed any drivers or changed start-up programs before the crash, can you see bios screen or get into setup ? if not are there any beeps ? and also if you can tell us your system spec's it will help a lot.

    It would be really helpful if you could provide more information.

    As it looks like your pc was working you replaced the fan and now it won't turn on and nothing on the screen? Any beeps or error codes?

    I think XP Pro 32Bit you should have SP3 for it. I agree with mopar use Everest or open the run window and type in dxdiag and note the System Manuf and Model of the mobo and then a lot more advice can be provided.

    Hey there my old systems you listed......lol, how come you didn't list PC3?!? That's the "bleeding edge system".

    Are you getting any BIOS Beep codes? Normally the single beep indicates everything is fine and away you go but other beep codes can mean different things.

    Which fan did you replace?

    Did you have to remove any hardware to put the fan in?

    A better description of your problem will help for "better" advice to be provided.
