    Hi there,

When I tried to boot my desktop this morning it got to the splash page with the "BOOT Menu" and "BIOS Setting" options and quite. Nothing works.

I have an E-machine C3070 with Windows XP. It's needed to be reformatted for about two weeks now just to clean everything up, but worked fine. The only thing I can think of is that last night a neighbor was mucking about in the system registry.

I don't have a solid boot disk because all that info is supposed to be kept on a secondary hard drive, but I don't know if it's a physical or virtual drive.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated (especially if it means I can back up a few files before the hard drive is wiped.)

    Becca
