computer wont start....

windows xp dell pc sp3. My pc wont start when i press power the button stays orange. And does not turn green.. I use to be able to manually restart it many times in row. Then it may work. Now not doing anything. I was trying in sfemode and normal mode when i logged on. And it lock up ea time and ctr alt delete not work. So had to restart. Any ideas?

do you try a different power supply ? Maybe it's faulty :wave

sorry i havnt posted in a while. I ended up tossing it away. It caught fire and flled oomwith smoke. Took it outside and tossed it. With income tax. Ia going to nuy a cell phon with internet. Thanks for all the help. Very much appreciate it always.
