    *Connecting
Ive got a laptop(xp pro) and a PC(xp), I wish to connect the laptop to the pc, I do not have a router or hub.

Ive got an Ethernet cable, which I can use to share the internet between them, by connecting the laptop to the 2nd ethernet exit on my pc.
Ive tried to make a workgroup and make both computers part of it, but it didnt work, they each get a workgroup but do not share them.

Ive tried to look it up and I think that I must either buy a hub or connect them using a usb cable.

    Any other solutions?

Depending on the age of the network adapters, you may need a crossover ethernet cable. (Most newer adapters will do the change internally with a regular ethernet cable.)
