i just installed a cd burner a few days ago,and its fine, but now everytime i reboot i get a "configuration change" error.i caan still get to windows, but its annoying to get that message, since it slows up my booting, because i have to either pick "continue" or "excit setup".does anyone know how i can get that to disapear so i dont have to go through that everytime i reboot.im runniing windows 98.thanks

given the error that you're getting it sounds like you simply need to enter the bios and save the changes upon exit. Is it by chance a compaq? If so then pressing F10 while the white block is in the upper right hand corner of the screen during the compaq logo will get you in there. Or it should give you the option when it gives you the error.
