I have windows 7 and had to get a new home network. I reset the network setting for my Brother printer but now have to set it up on my computer. It was previously set up wirelessly. Do I have to d elete and then add a printer, etc or can I keep the same installation?

You do not have to delete the old but you will need to add a new because Windows needs to know how to communicate with it. It used to send print jobs out the network adapter. Now it needs to send out the USB printer cable.

@dmd31842 - Please understand that tech support forums work by "give and take", not just "take". That is, people come to forums not just to learn, but to share what they have learned so others may benefit from that learning experience.

You simply saying "solved" helps no one who may be having the same problem as you. So how about sharing what you learn and give back? Tell what you did to resolve this problem.
