Confirming Port Forwarding?

I've spent the last several days setting up my port forwarding information. I set a Static IP successfully, I set the information about my new IP in my router with my port number and included this information in my torrent client.

However, I'm getting two results. When I use the port checker of my torrent client it says my port is open. I have checked the settings in my profile of several of my private tracks and they all show me as "Connectible."

But, when I check sites like "canyouseeeme.org" and others that check your port, they are unable to see it as open. I am running some security programs like sandbox, firewall and real-time anti-virus, but when I disable all these I still get the same result.

Can anyone tell me with any certainty if my port forwarding is in-fact set up correctly? I keep getting mixed signals here.

Found it! You apparently have to have your app/client that uses the port running and open when doing the check. FYI to anyone in the future!
