conflict desert storm 2 pc

i have reloaded the game 5 times but it will not launch.i get the options but when i press ok the game just freezes. the task manager says the game is running.the screen changes a slightly lighter colour.

 

Welcome to MG petervitch. First, what are your system specs? Seems like hardware problem here. Could be inefficient graphics card or RAM.

 

thanks for your reply sailor.the problem is that i have played this game on my computer before but now it wont launch.i have just loaded conflict global storm and it plays very well on my machine the specs are fine and the video card has been updated with the latest ati drivers drivers i have also reloaded direct x 9.
