Congrats & Thank you's...

I don't usually start threads about links on the main site MajorGeeks.com because they are there for all to see and most members do check the front page daily....but yesterday Tim put up a link about another fabulous milestone reached for MG.

I want to say thank you to Tim & Jim for giving us a place to not only get superior help with our puters when we need it but also a place to read and learn from others. We get to just hang out whenever we want to, reply to threads and/or start own any time night or day or we can simply sit back and follow threads while experiencing a range of emotions from hysterical laughter over some funny comment or joke to getting very passionate over a discussion close to our heart/home.

To chaslang and his Malware Fighting Crew what can I say? You are a special group of people who's dedication & perseverance are uncomparable. Your patience in dealing with people who just don't 'get it' is amazing and your ability to step back and let someone else step in when you get overly frustrated is commendable. Your ability to continually update the guides and stay on top of the latest threats lurking out there is beyond admirable when you are kept so busy putting together fixes for posters, working your 'day job' and trying to spend quality time with loved ones.

hehe MK, as you know I'm a mod elsewhere too and MG's is always my first stop, just don't tell my 'boss'. MG's was the first decent site I found oh so long ago when I first got on the 'net. There was none of this 'Format, you idiot' responses but some real help.

Thankfully I never needed Chas' help, but I'm glad to know it's available here if and when I fall off the PC trapeze and need the net.

 

I couldnt have said any of it better myself! I want to give a big thanks to everyone who works so hard here. The advice and help I gained here is immeasurable and the folks are terribly patient and friendly. Its like my little home away from home (gone to long and I go into withdrawl LOL)

 

I just want add my thanks, too. The folks here are great people and fun to chat with.
I have only visted the Malware Forum, once, (just a check-up), but keep tabs on some of the more interesting threads. Those folks know their bugs.
Also, MG is my morning coffee stop and my homepage.
