Connected to routher, but not the internet

I'm using a D-Link DL-524 router. It has been working for the past while, but am now having problems

My desktop (iMac) can connect to the internet through my router ok. But my Toshiba laptop can only connect to the router and not the internet.

I've messed around with both computers but no luck.

Any ideas on what I should try?

 

Yes, I unpluged both my cable modem and router then turn them on again, as well as hold down on the reset button for 10sec on my router...still no luck

side note, my laptop can connect to another router in the area, so I don't think its my laptop thats a fault. Looks like a router problem

 

If the iMac can connect to the Internet through the Router, I doubt that it is a Router problem.

The Toshiba can actually connect to your Router menus by typing the Router's IP to the browser, or you just see the word connected somewhere?

 

My mac has a wire connected from it to the router, its not running on wireless. I have another toshiba laptop and that could connect before, but cant now

Edit: I can plug in the cord that was in my iMac to my laptop and get on the internet, the problem lies with the wireless aspect. I've call my ISP a week ago and they said it was a problem with my router....im sooo lost here

 

Wireless in order to work needs a match between the Wireless part of the Router and the Wireless computer.

Log to the Router with the wired computer look at the Wireless settings and make sure that the same exact settings is configured in the laptop.
