Connecting A Pc And Monitor

    My daughter got a gaming pc for Christmas and a separate monitor and unable to
    Connect the two together. Is there anything that we can do

    Take pictures of the PC and monitor's connectors, and upload them.

    What kinda Computer is it..We need the model and number to look up information.We all so need the model of the monitor.

    Some systems might require a VGA to HDMI cable...Which i have on this setup.

    Are you saying the cable does not fit any of the connectors? Or are you saying you connected a cable but still have no picture?

    My "guess" is exactly what happened with my grandson. His video card wants a DisplayPort cable connection but his monitor uses HDMI. So we have a DisplayPort to HDMI adapter on order.
