When I connect my Samsung DV Camcorder to my PC it does not automatically recognize the device. I go into the Device Manager and there is a yellow circle with an exclamation point next to the "61883 Class Bus Device". When I go into its properties the location is "NEC OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller" and under the Device Status it has the message "This device cannot start. (Code 10)." I have uninstalled and reinstalled the camera driver. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the firewire driver but neither thing fixed the issue.

Does anyone have any more ideas I could try?

I'm going to try and swap out the firewire cable. The firewire port on my pc is not through a PCI Card it is a port on the front of the PC. Could that have gone bad? Unfortunately I don't have any other firewire peripheral devices to test the port.
