I have having an issue connecting my new HP deskjet 3050 via wireless to my Toshiba 3655 laptop. My laptop has windows 7 home premium 64 bit.....I don't have a router.....

When I try to connect, it sees the printer but can't connect, it seems to be stuck trying to identifying the printer......

Can someone walk me through on how to set it up using ad-hoc???

I am really new to 7...... Still learning. :) If it was xp, then I would have it solved... LOL

    Thank you....

HERE is a trouble shooting procedure from HP support.
The first suggestion of hooking up by USB cable to get the printer recognized and then going wireless seems the easiest route.
