Connecting to Internet Causes Computer to Freeze

    Ok. This is the 3rd thread I am posting in. I originally posted in Networking, here, and then in Malware, here.

    Due to the fact that there appears to be nothing infecting my computer, I'm hoping someone can help me. I was going to try to reformat, but we recently moved and the hunt for my disks has been a wild goose chase so far. If there is anything I can do short of that, I'd appreciate some help. Thanks!

    Let's see if I have the info and problem correct:
    You are running Vista 64 bit and FF freezes when you connect to the internet in normal mode but have no freezes when you try to connect in safe mode.

    When you say safe mode, is that Windows safe mode or FF safe mode?
