Connection Problems

I have been having some problems recently with my instant messengers. I usually don't ever realize it, but my instant messengers have been signing in and out. It usually only takes a few seconds and I don't ever notice any problems with the internet. I have updated all of my instant messengers and even tried Trillian, but nothing has worked. I have three and they all started doing this at the same time so I was wondering if anyone here had an idea of what might be causing the problem. Thanks for the help!
