    Hi

Not sure if this is a hardware or software problem. My wireless connectivity is fine for my laptop, but for my other computer, I don't seem to be able to connect to the internet. According to the wireless network settings, the computer is connected, getting a good signal, and running at normal speed. I even go to the router webpage and the status shows as "connected". However, when I then try moving to another website, the transfer is really slow and eventually I get another error message telling me it connect display the webpage (regardless of the webpage 'm trying to browse).

I've tried resetting the router (including removing all the wires etc) and repairing the wireless connection, but nothing seems to work. I'm fairly sure it isn't a router problem though as I'm currently connected to it through my laptop. I've not set up a network between the computer and laptop.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    What browser do you use?

Could you specify the error message? Text and numbers, please. Or a screenshot. Also: the firewalls from ZoneAlarm causes similar problems these days but a fix is available on the company's homepage in the form of new versions. More workarounds for the ZoneAlarm problem here.
