Connection Status Unknown

"The service to detect this status is turned off." Quoted from the Sys Tray.

Can you tell me what this means? Is it something I should worry about? If so, how do I correct it?

Dell Vista, Word 2010.

 

From start >> All Programs>> Accessories- right click on command prompt select, run as administrator.

Type:

net localgroup Administrators localservice /add

Note the space between "localservice' and /

Thanks for trying to help.

Several things are missing from my OS so I can't reach many items until I get a disk to restore Vista.
