connection string

    I dont understand the problem Im having, everytime I try to go to one page on the computer I cant i get told that the commection string property has not initilaized? I dont understand why, its for a food managers course that im taking for work, i was told it was a software problem? there are no other error messages or numbers after that. I have windows vista.

    Welcome to MG's. I am moving your thread to the software forum, but I think your only course of action would be to contact the tech people at the company that is providing the management software. They should have an online help contact.

    Thank you i already tried that I bought the computer from dell and when I called and told them i had a problem they told me it was going to cost me 170.00 for their help, i just figured I would try it on my own before i paid them.

    I meant that you needed to contact the people who provide you with the food managers online course. They may know exactly why you get those error with their program. ( I am assuming nothing else is causing you error messages and can access the web without issue. )

    Hi

    What Service Pack is your Vista at? (click Start and type winver into the Start Search box and hit enter)

    Is this an application run from your PC or is it a webpage you visit and then you get the error?

    If a webpage, what browser are you using?
    and also check with the websites support if you need any pre-requisite applications installed, like .Net, Quicktime, Java etc

    Do you have .Net installed and if so what versions? (can find this out in Add/Remove list)
