Connection time out

why do i get this error msg always for some sites? only my pc can not open these sites, when i try it says

but when i go through hxxp://xxx.ninjacloak.com/ i can go to that site from my pc, why cant i normally log those sites?

What browser are you using? Can you install a different browser? Can you go into your exisitng browser and reset all the tabs to the defaults without messing up other settings you have added?

Do you have good malware/anti-virus protection? Have you updated and scanned lately? A redirect set by a trojan can mess up your browsing.

Open a command prompt and try to ping a site that you can't access on the web. Can you ping the site? Do you have a firewall enabled that you can disable briefly while you test? Either a software firewall or windows firewall. Do this last in case it's shutting down a virus-redirect.

I'm guessing it's security settings or a virus/trojan/malware. I'd start with that at least.
