connector - header help

    You just need to use something like a sewing needle
    and very carefully push down on the Tab you see. Then
    gently pull out the wire. You will need to use the same
    needle or pointy tweezer to gently Lift the Tab back up
    before you put the wire into the new connector shell.

    thx, bruce. i thought that, but i couldn't get it to work. my g/f actually pulled up on the plastic, and was able to pull the wires out. at least now i can use the power button on front of the case. the electronics places around here said i'd have to rig it, whatever. :major - sos
